There was a surprise result in Gevgelija where tenth rankedCair 2030 (6-9) defeated higher ranked Kozuv (8-9) 99-81 on Saturday. Cair 2030 made 22-of-28 free shots (78.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Jalin Billingsley (203-2002, college: EMU, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who helped to win the game recording 26 points and 7 rebounds and guard Meti Taci (194-2003) who added 18 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. At the losing side the former international center Teodor Simic (215-2004) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and American Rodney Purvis (193-1994, college: UConn, agency: JCK Sports Group) scored 13 points and 4 assists. Four Cair 2030 and five Kozuv players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cair 2030 moved-up to eighth place. Loser Kozuv keeps the sixth position with nine games lost.
